Q. My electricity was out for about 15 hours yesterday due to storms in the area. Do I need to throw everything out that was in the fridge and freezer? I kept the door closed so nothing thawed out enough to worry about. If I were you I'd fire up the barbecue and grill up some burgers and chicken. The eggs should be fine as well as the pizza. Salad dressing- you'll have to use your own judgment. If it's got egg yolks in it and it got really warm then I'd get rid of it to be safe.
