Nounretailers
From Wiktionary under the GNU Free Documentation License. Retailing consists of the sale of goods or merchandise from a fixed location, such as a department store, boutique or kiosk, or by post, in small or individual lots for direct consumption by the purchaser. Retailing may include subordinated services, such as delivery. Purchasers may be individuals or businesses. In commerce, a "retailer" buys goods or products in large quantities from manufacturers or importers, either directly or through a wholesaler, and then sells smaller quantities to the end-user. Retail establishments are often called shops or stores. Retailers are at the end of the supply chain. Manufacturing marketers see the process of retailing as a necessary part of their overall distribution strategy. The term "retailer" is also applied where a service provider services the needs of a large number of individuals, such as a public utility, like electric power. Shops may be on residential streets, shopping streets with few or no houses or in a shopping mall. Shopping streets may be for pedestrians only. Sometimes a shopping street has a partial or full roof to protect customers from precipitation. Online retailing, a type of electronic commerce used for business-to-consumer (B2C) transactions and mail order, are forms of non-shop retailing. Shopping generally refers to the act of buying products. Sometimes this is done to obtain necessities such as food and clothing; sometimes it is done as a recreational activity. Recreational shopping often involves window shopping (just looking, not buying) and browsing and does not always result in a purchase. From Wikipedia under the

The only thing i need to know is how to sell the products to the retailers. Should i just bring the product and then sell it or should I ask for 50% of the money in advance and then order it? I dont want to buy to much or to little. Thanks for helping!! Asked by WhiteVaultGirl - Sat Feb 2 17:56:00 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. The first thing to do is to talk to retailers -- lots of them, as they will be your customers. Find out what they want, but are not getting from their present distributors. Distributors normally get paid on invoice or (more frequently) monthly statement, so you need to pay some attention to your customers' creditworthiness. You will need significant working capital to carry your inventory. Answered by rhsaunders - Sat Feb 2 18:02:03 2008 How to sell a product to retailers? Q. I make unique pillows. What would be the best way to market the product? Is there a company that takes products and "sells" them to the major retailers? Asked by Jeff - Thu Dec 6 22:19:58 2007 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. Copyright!?!? You sure as hell don't need a copyright. They are expensive, overrated, and are certainly no guarantee to making money!!! What you need is a licensing agreement. That has nothing to do with a copyright. Major companies are always looking for an edge. They will make deals with you to cut you in on the profit so long as you have a worthwhile idea to present (license agreement). It is by no means easy but it can be done. These small to medium sized manufacturing companies are run by people that are no different than you or me. They are out there to make money just like you and me and they are willing to listen to your idea so long as it is a legitimate and marketable idea. If you want to do it on your own you are going to… [cont.] Answered by golfers_r_me - Thu Dec 6 23:36:45 2007 What are the best Airsoft retailers in and around North East Massachusetts?
Q. What would you consider to be the best retailers for Airsoft in that location? It doesn't have to be just stores, but points of interest as well. I'd also prefer places that specialize more so in Airsoft (rather than just having it as some small piece of what they sell). Asked by Matthew - Mon Nov 3 09:38:09 2008 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. I live in MA and im sorry to say that airsoft stores are not abundant. The only walk-in airsoft store is federal airsoft in Belchertown, MA. K-Mart, Wal-Mart, The Bass Pro Shops, and Dick's Sporting Goods are some other places that have some airsoft supplies, but not great stuff. Several army/navy stores or army surplus stores carry airsoft stuff, but it can be costly. There are a few in Boston. Here is the website for federal airsoft: Wal-Mart has a decent stock, but not very high quality: Dick's Sporting Goods is OK, but nothing special: Answered by bcope75 - Tue Nov 4 09:02:59 2008 From Yahoo Answer Search: "retailers" Weak retail sales worrisome for fall
